The Department of Defense shared the following photos of the Military Working Dog Breeding Program headquartered at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.
The dogs enter the program as puppies just a few weeks old and train and raise them to serve alongside other military working dogs, a select group used by DOD and other government agencies for patrol, drug and explosive detection and in specialized missions both stateside and overseas.
