DOD Seeks Deputy CIO for Information Enterprise

The Department of Defense is looking for a deputy chief information officer to head information enterprise. The job pays between $105.211 and $136,771 per year and is open for applications until May 9.

The Deputy CIO for Information Enterprise is a direct report to the DoD CIO and leads, directs and manages a staff comprised of SES, HQE, GS, Military and Contractor personnel, providing expert management and oversight of the information management and information technology plans, design, architecture, technology standards of information management and information technology. Oversight includes review of the adherence to these policies and standards as they relate to the DoD CIO responsibilities and functions to satisfy warfighter needs.

The Director for Governance serves as the principal advisor to the DCIO (IE) providing expertise in IT, including NSS and IRM matters, as well as, the DoD Joint Information Environment. The incumbent provides technical support and professional advice on DoD IT trends, innovation and solutions.
