Leadership Changes at CGI After Morea Announces Retirement

Donna Morea, the high-profile president of CGI’s U.S. and India operations, announced she is retiring after 31 years as the company that boasts approximately $2.3 billion in annual revenue.

Morea led Fairfax-based CGI’s effort to acquire Stanley Associates last year and has seen the company almost triple its revenues over the past six years with a mix of acquisition and organic growth.

George Schindler, current president of CGI Federal, will take Morea’s position while Donna Ryan, the senior vice president of the federal unit, will take Schindler’s position.

“I would like to thank Donna Morea for her tremendous contribution to CGI and I am pleased that she has agreed to be nominated for election to our Board of Directors at our Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in February 2012 so that we may continue to benefit from her experience,” said CGI CEO Michael Roach.
