Marianne Bailey

Deputy National Manager for National Security Systems, NSA

Marianne Bailey has more than three decades of experience protecting the nation’s critical security systems, formerly in the CIO’s Office at the Defense Department and now as deputy national manager for national security systems at the National Security Agency. Bailey told FedScoop she’s seen many things change since she joined the agency in 1984, and she looks forward to seeing that continue into the future regarding cybersecurity. “It is never dull or boring. We can never let our guard down. Our adversaries come in all shapes and sizes … from a lone teenager to a nation-state team, from basic hackers to highly skilled professionals,” she said.
