Want a job at one of the top 10 best places to work in federal government?

The Justice Department and Transportation Department are each looking to fill a C-level position over the next month.

DOJ wants to find a chief information officer/deputy assistant attorney general for information resources management, and DOT is seeking a chief technology officer.

The application period for both positions ends in one month — Jan. 6 and Jan. 2, respectively.

The CTO position at DOT would be in the office of the CIO and provide support and technical advice to the department. The CIO position at DOJ will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT services departmentwide.

According to the Best Places to Work 2012 rankings, both departments are among the top 10 best places to work in the federal government.

Both positions pay $119,554 to $172,500 per year and are located in Washington, D.C.
