Susan Davenport

Susan Davenport leads the Department of the Air Force’s enterprise approach to data and artificial intelligence across the Air Force and Space Force. Her office develops strategies for data management, analytics and responsible AI use, with an emphasis on turning promising capabilities into operational results. In 2026, the department released new data and AI strategies intended to make information more usable and accelerate the delivery of AI-enabled capabilities. Davenport brings decades of military and civilian experience to that effort. She is focused on the governance, infrastructure and workforce practices needed for airmen and Guardians to use data securely and make better decisions.
