Farm Service Agency posts open CIO job

The person hired will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and operations of tech within the agency, which works with farmers on regulations and conservation efforts. The job listing asks for someone who will help increase information sharing across USDA, determine which IT projects need to be revised or dropped, and establish cost-effective policies for the short- and long-term.
